Cosby Woman Arrested For Drug Possession

A Cosby woman has been charged with drug possession after overdosing at an area church. The family of Mandy Turner says they dropped the 42 year old woman off at the home of Maelee Callison…Callison stated she allowed Turner to go with them to church on Sunday morning. During the service, Turner began acting strange and then began jerking and tugging her hair. Turner was rushed by family to the Newport Medical Center ER. Her bag was given to police who searched it for weapons. They found a scale, meth pipe and spoons related to drug use…and drugs…4 grams of fentanyl, .71 grams of heroin and a bottle that contained 70 Gabapentin pills. Many Turner has been charged with schedule I narcatics possession.
