Pancake & Waffle Mix Recalled

If you have recently purchased pancake and waffle mix from Wal-Mart or Kroger there is a recall you need to be aware of. Continental Mills, the manufacturer of the pancake mix, is voluntarily recalling select boxes of their mix due to fragments from a cable used near the processing line possibly being in the mixes. The Wal-Mart mixes are under the Great Value brand name and were distributed nationwide. Those boxes have the UPC 078742370828, lot code KX2063 and a “Best By Date” of Sept. 1, 2023.

The Kroger mixes are under the Kroger name and have been distributed to 17 states including Tennessee.

Both recall notices advise disposing of the affected product or returning it to the store for a replacement or refund.
