Marathon Victim of Armed Robbery

Jefferson County deputies responded to a call about an armed robbery Wednesday night at the Marathon gas station on route 113 just off interstate 40. The robbery happened around 9:45 last night when a black male dressed in all black came into the gas station brandishing a handgun. Police tried to track the suspect with a K-9 officer but were unsuccessful. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s department has posted pictures of the suspect on their Facebook page.
