17 Year Old Destroys Mother’s Home

Newport Police were called Wednesday afternoon about a 17 year old boy destroying his mother’s home. Police arrived and saw the 17 year old outside. Before the officer could exit her police car, the juvenile jumped into a BMW and fled…driving under a fallen tree on the property. The officer was not able to drive under that tree and could not follow. Inside the home office Lindsay Laughter was shown the destruction caused by that 17 year old inside the home. Three couches had been flipped over, plus a table in the living room and other areas of the house had been trashed. A warrant has been issued for that 17 year old male juvenile for vandalism plus another warrant for evading arrest.
