Woman Reports Phone Stolen

A woman is looking to press charges against the person who stole a Samsung phone from her last night at Priceless Foods in Newport. Tisha Matthews told police she was in the parking lot at Priceless Foods and went inside to use the restroom. She asked a friend to watch her belongings while she was gone. When she got back the friend had not watched her things and her Samsung phone from AT&T was missing. The phone has a value of $720. Matthews said a male subject may be the culprit. That suspect was riding a bicycle and was wearing cargo shorts and either a red or orange bandana. If anyone has information about that theft…call the Newport Police department.
