Over 300 People A Day Early Voting

319 more people took advantage of the ability to early vote on Wednesday putting Cocke County’s early vote total to 1,819 for the May 3rd primary election. Early voting continues today and Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-noon at the early voting site in the Western Plaza Shopping Center. One week from today, Thursday April 28th will be the last chance to early vote. An average of 329 people are early voting each day…excluding Saturday.

If you did not register to vote for the May 3rd primary, but want to vote in the August 4th election which will be the primary for state and federal offices and the general election for the county races, deadline to register to vote in that election is July 5th
