ETCH Sends Out Letters Regarding Cyber Attack
Back in March the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in Knoxville was the victim of a cyber attack. Now, the hospital is sending out notices to parents that their child’s personal information might have been compromised. In the letter sent to parents this week, ETCH says that documents may have been copied or viewed by cyber criminals. According to the hospital, affected information may include their child’s name and contact information, also their birthday and medical record number. ETCH says concerned parents can call their helpline at 1-833-749-1685.
