“No Kid Hungry” Begins June 2

Cocke County schools and the organization “No Kid Hungry” are making sure the Cocke County’s school children will be getting a good meal, at least for the month of June. Coming up each Thursday in June, starting next Thursday, June 2…meals will be distributed for all schoolchildren ages 18 and under for the week. The packages contain 7 breakfast and 7 lunch meals for each child…and a 1/2 gallon of Mayfield milk. These food packages will be distributed in front of the Cocke County High School each Thursday in June from 10:30am-1:30pm or until supplies last. So those dates will be June 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd.
