Newport Man Reports Stolen Medication
A Newport man reported to police that he had his medication stolen over the weekend. David Wilson stated that he had gotten a prescription bottle filled of Oxycodone last week and had taken 3 out of a bottle of 90. He stated had had left the remaining pills in the passenger side door of his mother-in-law’s vehicle. When he checked the next day, the pills were gone. According to his mother-in-law, she had given her neighbor, Frank Jenkins, Jr. a ride to the store and he was the only other person to be in that vehicle. Jenkins is a suspect in the theft but no arrest has been made at this time.
