Arrest Warrant Issued For Shoplifter

Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart in Newport Tuesday afternoon after someone tried to steal…diapers. Loss prevention told police they observed two females attempt to push merchandise out the front door without payment. Loss prevention was able to stop one of the females, identified as 38 year old Amanda Webb-Forrester. Some of the merchandise was recovered…that merchandise valued at $255 included baby items plus candy and sodas. The second female, identified as 31 year old Tanya Forrester, continued out the door pushing a buggy with stolen merchandise and a three week old baby. That buggy contained $90 worth of diapers. She was able to get away with the stash of diapers. Amanda Webb-Forrester was taken into custody for shoplifting…a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Tanya Forrester.
