Man Returns Truck With Missing Equipment

Newport police were called to the Love’s Travel Center shortly before midnight Tuesday night. Stephanie Butler told police she owns a semi-truck and hired 49 year old Robert Worboys to drive but she recently fired him and took back possession of her truck. However when she got the truck back, it was missing the cb radio and a Garmin GPS. The front windshield was also cracked along with other damage. Worboys had also unplugged the batteries for the truck so it would not start. Value of the stolen equipment was $345…a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
