Lucky Pawn Victim Of Theft

Police were called to Lucky Pawn in Newport Monday. The shop had encountered a theft…right under there eyes in broad daylight. Charles Epley told police that two male & two female subjects had come into the store wanting to look at rings. Epley stated while he was at the other end of the store helping the older female customer, the younger female grabbed four rings and ran out. Epley stated there were three minivans he believed were involved with the theft…two were blue and one was green. Each had multiple occupants and were Hispanic. Epley stated he was not sure what direction of travel the thieves went. Police are investigating that theft…the value of the stolen rings was $2,000.
