Man Charged With DUI

Police arrested a man Tuesday night who was driving under the influence…and was nearly 3 times over the legal limit. Police were called about a GMC Yukon traveling southbound on North Street that was all over the road. Officer Rex Reese spotted that vehicle traveling westbound on Broadway and pulled it over at the intersection with Thinwood Drive. The driver, 52 year old Stephen Glenn stated that he had been drinking in Greeneville and had consumed 3 or 4 24 ounce beers. Glenn’s blood alcohol level was registered at .234… nearly 3 times the legal limit of .08. Glenn was transported to the Cocke County jail charged with DUI.
