Man Who Ran From Police Arrested

Deputies also arrested a man who ran from police over the weekend. The traffic stop happened on Judds Lane. The driver of the vehicle was 47 year old James Hinson who got out of his car as the deputy walked up. Hinson was ordered to get back in his vehicle but instead cursed at the deputy and took off on foot. Hinson had to finally be tasered to be taken into custody. A pair of brass knuckles were found in his pocket. A K9 search of the vehicle found drug paraphernalia and baggies used to package illegal narcotics. Hinson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and being in possession of prohibited weapons.
