Home Invader Picks Wrong Home

A man who was looking to commit a home invasion picked the wrong house Monday night. This happened in Washington County Virginia near Bristol…when a suspect broke into a home by knocking out one of the small windows in the back door. That man was greeted by gunfire as the home’s occupant shot the would be burglar. Police say it appeared the home’s occupant shot the home invader twice…who was then transported to the hospital in Bristol. Police are investigating but believe this was an attempted home invasion…and the homeowner was protecting themselves.
