Woman Arrested For Pouring Glass Cleaner In Fountain Drink

Newport police have arrested the woman who is being accused of pouring glass cleaner in the fountain drink of a customer. It happened at Kenjo Market in Newport Saturday. Rorey Heinzeroth called police saying that a woman had poured the glass cleaner in his drink. Video footage from the store caught 32 year old Crystal Allison putting the glass cleaner in the drink. Allison was fired from her job Saturday evening and Newport police took her into custody on Tuesday…she is charged with assault. This is evidently not the first time she has done this either. According to police, Crystal Allison was previously arrested for assault and adulteration of food, liquids or pharmaceuticals… that is defined under Tennessee law as tampering with a food product to cause bodily harm.
