US Marshals Arrest Man Wanted For Child Molestation

A man wanted for child molestation charges in Georgia has been arrested in Sevier County. US Marshals say they arrested 67 year old Dennis Dewayne Dockery in Pigeon Forge after a two month manhunt. Dockery was originally arrested in August 2021 on multiple counts of child molestation. An investigation revealed that Dockery may have been molesting children since 2002. Dockery was fitted with an ankle monitor in Georgia but tampered with it an fled up to East Tennessee. US Marshals say that Dockery was armed with a handgun when they arrested him. He will await extradition back to Georgia.
