Sevierville PD Hosts National Night Out
Tuesday night The Sevierville Police Department is hosting a National Night Out event. It takes place from 6-8 p.m. at the Sevierville Municipal Complex (Dolly Parton Parkway at Bruce Street). The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Pigeon Forge Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and their Children’s Hot Car, will be on hand. Over 50 agencies, businesses and non-profit organizations will be represented. There is free food, activities for kids, visits from many area mascots, and local public service agencies. Plus, numerous police, fire and other first responder vehicles and equipment will be on display as well. National Night Out is an annual nationwide community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
