Christmas Gifts Stolen From Car Over Thanksgiving

One of the warnings police have given during the holidays is do not leave Christmas shopping purchases in plain sight in your vehicle. A Newport woman learned that lesson over the Thanksgiving weekend. she told police she had bought two Red Cat RC cars for her kids for Christmas and left them in her vehicle at her home on Locust Ave. She stated she locked the vehicle and went inside her home. The next morning, the cars were gone from the vehicle. Value of the cars is nearly $345. NO suspects in the theft.
