Man Asks Neighbors To Kill Him

Cocke County deputies were called to a home in Bybee after a man had knocked on a home’s door asking the resident to shoot him and kill him. The home’s owners told deputies that the man was their next door neighbor, 22 year old Toy Cagle. Deputies found Cagle at his home next door. He stated he had been drinking a large amount of alcohol and wanted to die. Cagle told deputies he had no firearms in his possession. EMS arrived on the scene and transported him to the Newport Medical Center for evaluation.
