Fire Crews Respond To Truck Fire

Fire crews responded Monday to the Bush Brothers and Company farm on Cliff Road in Cocke County. A 2008 International S30 truck was on fire and appeared to have been pushed out of a covered barn area…a small pile of actively burning debris was behind the truck. Bush employee Robby Reece told Cocke County deputy Miranda Williams that they has plugged the truck up due to it being cold and there must have been an electrical malfunction which caused the fire. Reece said no one was in the vehicle at the time and the only damage sustained in that fire was to the vehicle itself. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze before it could spread anywhere else.
