Newport Grammar School Remains Closed

Officials had planned to reopen Newport Grammar School Tuesday morning, however, those plans have changed. Newport Grammar School will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday (1/17-18) as they continue the cleanup and repair from last Thursday’s damaging storm.
Last Thursday, a storm ripped part of the roof off of the school and sent a piece of guttering through a classroom window. School officials say that Newport Grammar School is scheduled to reopen on Thursday 1/19.
