Police In Morristown Confront Armed Man
Police in Morristown confronted an armed man when they responded to a domestic dispute. Officers say that 50 year old Andrew Reed was beating on the front door of a home when they arrived. Reed then reached into his pockets when turning towards police. Officers drew their weapons at that point and Reed pulled a hand gun out of his pocket, but did drop it when told to. Reed then moved his hand to the inside of his jacket where he pulled another handgun from a holster. Reed once again complied when told to drop the weapon. Reed was arrested for aggravated assault, plus illegal possession of a firearm and altering the serial number on a handgun.
