Trash And Dead Raccoons Dumped Under Bridge

A disgusting discovery had to be cleaned up over the weekend by Cocke County officials and the inmate litter crew. Someone had dumped a bunch of trash under the US 25/70 Bridgeport bridge. It wasn’t just the trash that was dumped, but someone had killed nearly a dozen raccoons and dumped them with the trash under the bridge. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office is looking for the individuals responsible. Anyone with information should call 623-6004. The sheriff’s office says they will be monitoring that are more closely.
