JCSO Makes Multiple Arrests In Drug Operation
While Cocke County law enforcement was putting Operation Open Gate into place last week, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office was working on an undercover operation called “Summer Heat”. A year long undercover drug operation by deputies assigned to the 4th Judical Dangerous Drugs Task Force resulted in the arrests of 13 individuals for the sale and delivery of illegal narcotics. Among those arrested were James Johnson & Christopher Alexander of White Pine; Roger Jones, Timothy Baker, Fred Smith and Summer Hinson all of Dandridge and John Fleming of Talbott. All are charged with sale & delivery of methamphetamine.
