Cocke County High School Prepares For New Year
Enrollment for new students at Cocke County High School continues today. If you have a child that is recently moved to Cocke County and will be a new student this year, or have a child that has graduated to high school, there are several things you need to get your child registered. First, you will need to fill out an enrollment form in person; Second, you need a transcript from your child’s previous school or documentation that verifies graduation from the eighth grade; You will also need to provide a birth certificate and proof of immunization from the state of Tennessee. Two proofs of residency in the name of the parent or guardian are required. Those documents could be a drivers license or utility bill. New student registration ends next Monday, July 31.
Freshmen Family Night is tonight from 4-7pm. All incoming freshmen students can familiarize themselves with the school, get their schedules and meet their teachers. All returning students can get their schedules through their Aspen accounts. Those should be available by no later than 6pm tonight.
Cosby High School School is getting ready for their new school year as well. Incoming freshmen can get their schedules today from 3-6. For returning students, they can get their schedules between 1-3 today. Locker information and parking permits can be obtained at that time. All students in Cocke County head back to school next Tuesday, August 1st.
