Delivery Driver Also Porch Pirate

Porch pirates have already struck in Cocke County. In this case, the porch pirate was the DELIVERY DRIVER. The victim, who lives on Hartford Road told the sheriff’s office she had ordered a 3 in 1 airfryer/rotisserie machine from Walmart and it was delivered at 11:08 am on Saturday. The victim then received a confirmation message and picture of the package on her porch before it was stolen. She did have video of the theft which shows two females in a burgundy colored Dodge Caravan drop off the package, take the photo, then leave. However, 10 minutes later, the same female subjects showed back up, took the package they had left on the porch and drove away. Wal-Mart is now trying to identify who the females were, but so far there has been no arrest. As for the victim, she is getting a refund for her purchase.
