Man Wanted In West Tennessee Arrested
A man wanted in West Tennessee was arrested in Newport Wednesday night. Police observed a blue Chevrolet Cobalt failing to maintain its lane while traveling northbound on Cosby Highway. The vehicle then turned into the Cracker Barrel parking lot, where Officer Lindsey Laughter attempted a traffic stop. However, the driver of the Chevy cobalt drove around the parking lot and got back onto Cosby Highway before turning into the parking lot of the Best Western. That vehicle wound up striking another vehicle as well as mailbox. The driver then bailed out of his vehicle and took off on foot, but was captured after a short pursuit. 40 year old Jeremy Henley ran because he did not have a drivers license. Henley was found to have that license suspended out of Benton County back in 2018 Henley was also found to be wanted for probation violation Carroll County Tennessee.
