Cosby Woman Arrested For Assault

A Cosby woman was arrested early Sunday morning in a case of domestic assault. Kristina Stroud & Sheena Lace Banks were at their residence on Hartford Road in Cosby when Stroud said she noticed a smell of alcohol on Banks. When she confronted Banks on whether Banks had been drinking, Banks attacked her. At one point, Banks threw Stroud over a recliner and at one point began choking her to the point Stroud feared for her life. Stroud was able to break free and run out of the house, where she hid from Banks and was able to call 911. EMS was called to the scene…but Kristina Stround refused treatment. Sheena Lee Banks was taken into custody and transported to the Cocke County Jail.
