Additional Arrests In Jefferson County Child Exploitation Case
Two women have now been arrested in Jefferson County in connection with a prior child exploitation arrest. On November 21, authorities arrested Cody Nathaniel Kesterson and charged him with Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. His bond was set at $400,000.
On Tuesday, December 9, while doing a follow-up investigation of forensic evidence from Kesterson’s arrest, Investigator Heather Sharpe who is assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force found a video that revealed a sexual encounter with Kesterson and his girlfriend Kimberly Fauklner that also involved a 2 year old child. Further investigation found that the mother of the toddler was also in possession of child sexual abuse material.
Kesterson now faces additional charges of Aggravated Rape of a Child and Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and two counts of Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. His bond was increased to $500,000. Kesterson’s girlfriend, 34 year old Kimberly Faulkner of New Market, has been charged with Aggravated Rape of a Child and Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Her bond has been set at $200,000.
The child’s mother, 23 year old Leah Stark of Seymour, has been charged with two counts of being in Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. Her bond is set at $200,000.
