Angela Thomas Honors CCSO

Angela Thomas of Newport had her annual Honoring Law Enforcement Officers day yesterday during National Police week. Angela dropped off cookies for the Newport police department before heading to the Cocke County Sheriff’s office and fed two shifts of officers with salad, breadsticks, pizza, spaghetti, cinnamon bites, chocolate chip cookies, and homemade banana pudding!

Angela does this every year in memory of her dad Larry Thomas who died in the line of duty following a vehicle accident as he was responding to a call of service to protect others.

Nice to hear some good new for a change.
