Another Drug House Shut down In Cocke County

Another search warrant executed at a home in Cocke County and another man had been arrested due to drug activity. This happened on Friday when the Newport/Cocke County Joint SWAT Team and the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on Stonewall Jackson Drive in Newport. The warrant was launched after an investigation found that 53 year old Martin Ball had been selling methamphetamine out of that house.

Officers search the home and a shed on the property and seized 2.10 pounds of Marijuana, 6.5 grams of Methamphetamine, along with two Xanax bars and 2.5 Suboxone pills. Also found in th4e search were digital scales and materials used to package illegal narcotics for sale. Martin Ball is now charged with Possession of Schedule II and VI narcotics for resale. He is also charged with Possession of Schedule II and IV narcotics along with drug paraphernalia. The sheriff’s office then posted one of their SOLD OUT signs in front of that home on Stonewall Jackson Drive.
