Appalachia Service Project To Help Flood Victims
More help coming for those whose homes were damaged or destroyed in the flood caused by Hurricane Helene. The Appalachia Service Project is getting prepared to come into Cocke County and help homeowners rebuild. ASP is now accepting for those whose homes were damaged ot destroyed. ASP will help rebuild those homes. They will also be assisting those homeowners dealing with issues related to the National Flood Insurance Program.

Appalachia Service Project is a Christian group that has been in operation for over 50 years. They bring thousands of volunteers from around the country to the Central Appalachian region to repair homes for low-income families. According to their website, ASP volunteers perform 3,000 repair projects each year.
