Arrest Warrant Sworn Out For Cosby Man

The Cocke County Sheriff’s department has sworn out an arrest warrant for a Cosby man. Earlier today the Sheriff’s office along with the joint Newport/Cocke County SWAT team executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on Catons Grove Road in Cosby belonging to Michael A. Gunter Jr. The search warrant was issued after an investigation into illegal drug trafficking. During the execution of that search warrant, officers seized a firearm, cash, and approx. 39 grams of heroin, and approx. 1 gram of meth. 50 year old Kristy Renee Allen-Hundley, was arrested on site for Sale and Delivery of Heroin, Possession of Meth with the intent to sale and delivery, Simple Possession of marijuana, and a warrant out of Sevier County. There are active arrest warrants that have been issued for 37 year old Michael A. Gunter, Jr. the sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information regarding Mr. Gunter, to contact dispatch at 423-623-3064, private message the sheriff’s office Facebook page, or contact the sheriff’s office at 423-623-6004. Sheriff CJ Ball says this investigation is ongoing.
