Asheville Airport Adds Another Destination

Many people in Cocke County when they fly prefer to use the airport in Asheville over going to McGhee Tyson in Alcoa…especially with the headaches of the never ending construction on Alcoa Highway. The Asheville Airport has now added another destination on its non-stop flight roster. You can now fly non-stop out of Asheville to Phoenix, Arizona. Allegiant Air made that inaugural flight from Asheville to Phoenix on Friday. The Phoenix flight is the 26th nonstop flight available out of Asheville.
