Benefit Ride Planned For Joey Owings

This Saturday, June 3, the Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department along with the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a benefit ride for Cocke County Sheriff’s office Sgt. Joey Owings who is battling cancer. Sgt. Owings is also a member of the Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department. Riders will meet at the Hartford Citgo Saturday at 10am then ride through the Gulf, to Max Patch then down Round Mountain and end at the Fox Den. The charge to ride is a $20 donation with all proceeds benefitting Joey Owings.
