Buc-ee’s Has Official Opening Date
The first business to open in the new development off I-40 Exit 407 in Sevier County now has an official opening date. Buc-ee’s will officially open to the public at 6am on Monday, June 26. They will have an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 11am. Construction began on the Buc-ee’s in Kodak nearly two years ago in September of 2021. When it opens in a few weeks, it will be the largest convenience store in the world. The 74,000 square foot facility will feature 120 gas pumps and a 250 foot long car wash. You will also find Buc-ee’s to be a cross between Wal-Mart and a convenience store. The first Buc-ee’s in Tennessee opened last July in Crossville. A third Buc-ee’s is currently in the planning stages in Murfreesboro. The Sevier County Buc-ee’s will not be the largest in the world for long, as the company is building an even bigger location near their headquarters in Texas.
