Car Set On Fire In Cosby
The sheriff’s department responded to a car fire in Cosby early Wednesday morning. Glenn Hooper of Cosby told deputy Alex Reese that he had recently received multiple blocked calls from someone threatening to burn his car. Hooper stated around 2:30 am Wednesday, he was inside his home when he heard a loud explosion outside. He looked out and saw his 2009 Buick LeSabre going up in flames. The car was still burning when Deputy Reese arrived on scene. A neighbor stated that he heard two explosions and then saw the car on fire. Hooper told Deputy Reese that the numbers from those threatening calls had been deleted from his phone, so there are no leads as to who set that car on fire.
