Car Shot at on US-25E

A Talbott man reported to the Cocke County Sheriff’s office that his vehicle had been shot at. 87 year old George Miller stated that he was driving on US-25E near the Rankin Hill Road intersection when he heard what sounded like a gunshot and the passenger side window of his Toyota Corolla had been busted. The police noted that the bullet did not go through but did cause damage to the car’s window. No word on where that bullet may have come from.
