CCSO and TBI Arrest Middle Tennessee Man

A joint investigation between the Cocke County Sheriff’s office and the FBI has resulted in the arrest of a middle Tennessee man along with the seizure of a large amount of drugs. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office says on Thursday, 47 year old Larry Anthony Wade of Davidson County, Tn, or metro Nashville, was arrested after a lengthy investigation into illegal drug activity in Cocke County. Narcotics officers seized a significant amount of methamphetamine during the arrest. The exact amount has not yet been released. Wade is being charged with three counts of Distribution of Methamphetamine. He is being held without bond. Cocke County Sheriff C.J. Ball in a statement said the Sheriff’s office will not tolerate the illegal drug trade in Cocke County and that his office will continue to work with state and federal partners to keep Cocke County’s citizens safe and make sure those violating the law will be held accountable.
