CCSO Asking For Public’s Help To Identify Body Found In Del Rio
The Cocke County Sheriff’s office is asking the public for help to identify a woman who was found dead last week in Del Rio. According to Sheriff CJ Ball, a woman was found dead Friday, February 23 around 3pm. She was found on Punkton Road in Del Rio about 15 feet down an embankment.
The body of the woman was transported to the Forensics Center in Knoxville for an autopsy to determine the cause of death along with finding out the identity of the victim. The woman’s identity has not been discovered, so the sheriff’s office is hoping that the public can help identify her.
The victim appears to be an adult white female with brown hair and several tattoos. A tattoo on the upper left arm says “Aspen” and a tattoo on the upper right arm is “Capri”. There is a tattoo of 3 birds on the woman’s chest area. She was found wearing a gray Nike t-shirt and black Under Armour gym pants or sweatpants.
