Christmas Fundraiser For Jefferson County Animal Shelter

The group CARE… Companion Animal Rescue & Education …is hosting a holiday fundraiser benefitting the Jefferson County Animal Shelter. That fundraiser is being held today and tomorrow Christmas Eve at the animal shelter on Hwy 139 in Dandridge…today from 2-6 and tomorrow from 9-2. There will be lots of holiday activities to enjoy. A food truck will be on hand and you can get a picture taken with a Cousin Eddie impersonator from Christmas Vacation…complete with the RV.

Also, CARE is auctioning off a 5-course dinner for eight guests prepared by Heinz Lauer, certified executive chef of Le Cordon Bleu culinary arts. Lauer and his team will serve a customizable dinner in the winning bidder’s home at a date of their choosing.
