City Of Morristown Asking For Residents Input
As East Tennessee continues to see a boom in population as people move into this area from other parts of the country, Morristown has been one of the locations that has seen a big influx of residents. According to Morristown Mayor Gary Chesney, the city of Morristown has seen an increase of 3,000 residents in the last five years with another 3,000 expected over the NEXT five years. Because of the rapid growth, the city of Morristown is asking its residents to provide their thoughts in what they believe would help in future development in the downtown area. The city is asking residents to complete a survey regarding that issue. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. Main Street America and the City of Morristown are sponsoring the survey. The survey will be available online till midnight on Sunday July 28.
