Cocke County Partnership Accepting Applications For Christmas Parade

The Cocke County Partnership is accepting registration for the annual Newport Christmas Parade. This year’s parade will be at night. The theme for this year’s parade is “Christmas Nights & Magical Lights. The partnership is accepting applications for entries into the parade now through November 28th. Entries can be made at www.newportcockecountychamber.com/events.christmas-parade/. Applications will also be available on the stairs outside the Walters State double doors at 115 Mulberry Street, Newport. Entry for floats in the parade is just $10, for vehicles and horses the fee is $5. The Partnership is requesting participants to think big and bright when incorporating lights on their floats…the brighter the better.

The date for the Christmas Parade is Friday December 2 at 6:30pm. Parade will start at Debbie’s Drive-In and end at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church.
