Cocke County Stolen Vehicle Found In Morristown
Earlier this week, the Cocke County Sheriff’s office alerted the Morristown police department to be on the lookout for two stolen vehicles that could possibly be at the Scottish Inns Motel on West Morris Blvd. The manager of that motel told police that the individual driving one of the stolen cars spotted at the motel was in room 102. Officers then made contact with Tracy Jones of Morristown. He stated he had bought the vehicle from a Michael Lee Campbell whom he paid three thousand dollars. The title on the vehicle was supposedly signed by the vehicle’s owner, Ashley Caldwell of Parrottsville. Jones was arrested for being in possession of stolen property. The Cocke County sheriff’s office then dispatched Evans Towing to bring that vehicle back to Cocke County. No word on the status of the other stolen vehicle.
