Commodities Distribution Just In Time For Thanksgiving

November 23rd, just two days before Thanksgiving, that is the day for commodities distribution in Cocke County. The Douglas Cherokee economic Authority will be holding the commodities distribution at the National Guard Armory off Cosby Highway from 9 till 2 that day. It will once again be a drive thru service. To be eligible, you need to be a resident of Cocke County and bring proof of that residency, plus two other forms of documentation like a food stamp card, proof of SSI Assistance, proof of public housing residency or proof of families first assistance.
