Convicted Felon Charged With Weapons Charge In Sevier County
A shooting at a home in Sevier County has led to the arrest of a convicted felon on weapons charges. Early Tuesday morning, the Sevier County Sheriff’s office was called to a home on Tattle Branch Road in relation to a domestic assault where shots were fired. That led to an investigation and search warrants being executed at that home. The investigation resulted in the confiscation of 45 firearms and the arrest of a convicted felon.
Christopher Lloyd Phillips is now charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Reckless Endangerment. He is currently being held in the Sevier County Jail on a $300,000 bond.
