Dates & Times Announced For Super Regional Series

The dates and times have no been announced for Tennessee Baseball’s super Regional series against the Evansville Aces. Game 1 will be on Friday at 3pm and Game 2 on Saturday with an earlier start of 11 am. Both of those games will be televised on ESPN2. If game 3 is necessary, it will be played on Sunday at 6pm and will be on ESPNU. All games are in Knoxville on the UT campus at Lindsay Nelson Stadium. Tennessee is the #1 seed in the entire tournament while Evansville the #4 seed in their regional. They are just the ninth #4 seed to make it out of a regional in the last 25 years. The winner of this best of three series this weekend will advance to Omaha for the College World Series which begins on Friday, June 14. Tennessee is one of five SEC teams to advance to the Super Regionals. The others are Kentucky, Georgia, Florida and Texas A&M.
