Double Murder Suspects In Hamblen County Bound Over To Grand Jury
The two teenagers charged in a double homicide that happened at an Airbnb in Hamblen County back in January were in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing. 18 year old Adam Perez and 19 year old Talan Trevathan are charged with the murder of 16 year old Jayden Andrew Bullard and 19 year old Marsalous Tre-Dante Vestal during a teenage party held at an Airbnb rental property on January 4.
Perez faces two counts of second-degree murder and 13 counts of reckless endangerment. Talan Trevathan has two counts of accessory to second-degree murder and thirteen counts of accessory to reckless endangerment against him. A judge on Thursday bound the case over to the Grand Jury as prosecutors will now seek to indict the two on those charges.
Both remain in the Hamblen County jail on bond, $600,000 for Perez and $150,000 for Travathan. Last month, Gracious Boruff, who rented the Airbnb for the party, plead guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a child.
