Driver Runs Construction Red Light and Injures Three
A man who ran a construction zone red light caused a four vehicle crash Monday night. This happened on Hwy 25E near Lehigh Valley Drive. According to the preliminary report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 40 year old Chad Ladd was driving a 2016 Ford F250 northbound when he ran the construction zone red light on Hwy 25E. Ladd struck a 2010 Subaru Forrester head on causing injuries to the 55 year old female driver and a 5 year old passenger. Ladd then hit two other vehicles head on as he tried to come to a stop. A 3 year old child was injured in the third vehicle. Neither Ladd nor anyone in the fourth vehicle were hurt. Hwy 25E, which of course is down to one lane in that area, was closed for a while so the accident scene could be cleared. The THP says that charges are pending against Chad Ladd.
